Get the HOSE!

The hot summers of Arizona wouldn't be summer if you didn't take the time to wash your car. The hardest part about washing your car in AZ in the summertime is the soap dries before you can spray it off! It was 114 degrees this day!

Silly, silly Ryan, that's what you get when you let the little brother pick up the hose!

Ha Ha - a Lee never gets angry, only even!!!

Oh NO - I bet you can guess what is coming. . . . . . .

TOY STORY 3

We waited for Ryan to come home and get adjusted and it was the perfect movie to take him to for his "first" after returning home to the real world! What an amazing movie! I think our family has the first two movies memorized! Even little Brax LOVES this movie! Both Rachelle and Tanner saw it at midnight the first day it came out! They came home and said it was so great! I can't believe that Mark and I sat there and cried over toys! It so hard to wipe the tears away when you are wearing two pairs of glasses! We went all out this time - we went to the IMAX and did the whole 3-D thing. It will surely be one of our summer "favorites"!

It's a GIRL!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, we are announcing the birth of our first granddaughter!!! I didn't know if it would ever happen, but low and behold it is going to happen in November!

A girl! A girl! A girl!

I still can't believe it! And nobody better give them a BLUE dress!!! (That happened to me, after 4 boys, a blue dress - can you believe it???)

Congratulations, Kyle and Chrystal - Rachelle has already nicknamed Kyle as "Sugar Daddy!" I am sure that if she looks anything like Rachelle - she will be beautiful! She will be a princess in deed!

ELDER RYAN LEE returns home with honor!

June 18, 2010 - What a GREAT day it was! The anticipation almost killed us all. His plane wasn't due in until 5:34 p.m. My phone was ringing all day with text messages from everyone, young and old! We were soooo excited to welcome him home. Here is the story. . .

We all gathered at the airport and waited . . .

It was so fun to watch Braxton get so excited looking at all the airplanes coming in.

Branden was so excited, he was almost ready to jump out of his skin!

Grandpa was perfectly happy playing with Merek!

The plane just landed!

Here it comes, ready to park! Hurry . . Hurry!

And then we waited . . .

and waited . . . and waited some more!

Oh no - did he decide not to get off the plane!!! Where are you!!!

There he is . . . HE IS COMING and MOM is going to wet her pants! Here comes the tears!

Scared to death and wanting to go back to England! Thats OK - It means he served his heart out!

Move aside - its tradition - MOM always gets the first hug!

OH - that hug was worth waiting two years for! I didn't want to let go!!!

Doesn't he look wonderful - Same ol Ryan!

Ryan gives Kevin a BIG hug and meets his new little nephew born in January.

Ryan hugging Jenna and Braxton. Braxton was baby Merek's age when he left!

Kyle patiently waited his turn!

Meets a new sister-in-law - Chrystal who joined our family while he was gone.

TANNER - YOU GREW TALLER! I am suppose to be the tallest brother!

Rachelle - you are as gorgeous as everyone says!

Where's my Dad - oh there he is, hiding behind the camera!

So happy, he is HOME!

All the brothers - minus Michael who is living in Kansas City for the summer! aka - Rachelle's body guards!!!

Branden's welcome home sign!

Donivan's welcome home sign!

We dropped off the little ones with a sitter and headed to dinner. Oh what fun it was to catch up!

We were so excited to have him home, however, his heart was still back in England. When I went to bed that night, I hugged him and said, "Don't worry, Ryan, it will get easier, I promise." "Hope so Mom!"
We held a "Welcome Home" open house Saturday the 19th and he speaks in church on Sunday, June 27th at 8:00 a.m.

Rachelle - Senior Trip to Disneyland

Rachelle spent two weeks traveling after graduation. First she went to Disney World with the family she nannies for and then they headed out to sea on a Disney Bahama's Cruise for 5 days. She flew from Florida, home to Arizona to drop off the kiddos and then flew on to San Diego to meet up with some friends. They went to the beach, shopped and went to Disneyland. She forgot to take her camera so I am happy to get these pictures from her friend. Welcome back Rachelle, time to get a REAL job and get back into school! Love ya "pretty girl"!
