Tanner has a LOVE for the game of basketball! As a small child, Tanner struggled with a speech impairment that made it difficult for him to communicate what his little brain was thinking. We find it ironic that one of his first words in life was "basketball" and "basketball hoop"! Now at the ripe old age of 15, basketball IS his passion. This season has brought many ups and downs for the JV team of Higley High School, but many lessons in life are learned thru sports. Win or loose, our son is always a winner!
What a great post! I love it when we can remember those great things in life. You'd never know now that Tanner had a hard time speaking as a child. :)
